One thing that might tell you a lot about me is the fact that it took me months to write what'll end up being about three or four paragraphs.
Now that you know 75% of my life, we can continue. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California but found my way to Atlanta, Georgia in 2011 to earn my bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing in 2015 from Morehouse College. It was during that time that I found a desire for entrepreneurship and really started to embrace my creative side.
Atlanta to Boston; from one extreme to the other. I found myself up North freezing, working in sales for a billion dollar tech company. My Morehouse degree found me a good job but it just wasn't fulfilling. I noticed this right away, but I figured it couldn't hurt to make some money while I figured out where all my dreams, goals and passions align. After a year, I was still unsure of what career I wanted to lead BUT I knew for a fact it wasn't going to happen in Boston, Massachusetts.
So I took my talents to Silicon Beach, still with the same tech company that I started with. But after a promotion and a transfer back home, it still wasn't cutting it. Months of reflection finally showed me the steps I need to take for the career I want to lead. The funny thing is, I had the same mindset for years; the only thing I was missing was the confidence it took to take steps in that direction. I found a desire for entrepreneurship and a need to have multiple sources of income.
So boom, having the belief and comprehension in my skill-set that I wished I had years ago, I feel like the possibilities are endless. However, it takes time for doors to open, so walk with me. It's a whole-ass journey and this is just the beginning.
